Kiva Allgood is Vice President of Business Development, Smart Cities and Industrial IoT, for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

As the global business lead for Qualcomm’s Smart Cities initiative, Allgood helps strategic partners and cities build long term connectivity plans and strategies that help improve the livability, sustainability and connectivity fabric for its citizens. This includes providing critical insight into Qualcomm’s entire product, software and services portfolio.

Before joining Qualcomm, Allgood ran a startup focused on delivering high quality headphones and hearing devices to special needs children and adults. Prior to the startup Allgood held executive positions at Motorola and GE. Most recently she was the General Manager for NA Retail and MVNO Sales at Motorola’s Handset Division in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to this role she held executive management roles in Global Product Management and Operations.

Allgood holds board seats on CleanTech San Diego and Teen Volunteers in Action.

Allgood holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University and an MBA from Kellogg. She lives in San Diego, CA with her husband and two sons. She is an avid skier, sailor and loves to read.
